well this is from the 5th season of transformers, japan only, i noticed this when watching it, but doesn't this view strikingly resemble Megaman X and Zero? or am i nuts to think X and Zero were based off of 1980's cartoon characters? transformer Masterforce.

Hm, you're definitely right. Those really DO resemble X and Zero. Then again, I've seen the same color schemes on the Samurai Pizza Cats.
